On the bottle it is described as a "Belgian Style Abbey Ale". Not sure what that means, but when I saw the cool graphic of Monk and a circular keyboard I had to try it. Being a musician myself, I couldn't resist a beer named after a Jazz legend.
Firstly, this beer is very foamy. When I popped the cork, foam spewed out, a lot more then should have. After letting it sit, when I poured there was way too much head (as seen in photo).
